Alaestus is the second most populous Human kingdom in Heveron, formed after a successful Terminian rebellion by Lord Damien Kant. It is represented by the element of Water, the colour Blue and the ideals of Wisdom, Flexiblity and Ingenuity. The most progressive of the three kingdoms, its ties to the southern Surface Dwarves are particularly strong, resulting in a growing yet strong technological civilization, aided by magic instead of ruled by it. Their greatest achievement is the capital city Kantarus, a fully functioning habitable environment sealed almost completely underwater.
